Driving with Transports and Safety on Winter Roads

The Seniors and Law Enforcement Together (SALT) committee wish to invite you to a free lunch and presentation on what you should know about sharing the highways with transports. The  Ministry of Transportation will also share safety tips on driving safely in winter.

Presenters: Gary Little of the Transport Training Centre of Canada

Topics will include – safety advancements made to trucks – changes in driver training – why they can’t pick up speed – dangers in passing and following too close.

When:   Friday January 20, 2023
